Elsevier wanted to send out a generic email that would feature their 25% off discount for recent best sellers. The email needed to reference both print and eBooks, but not a specific discipline or category.
Being a medical publisher we decided to do a fun illustration of two doctors sitting on a bench each reading from their preferred device. We wanted to bring the feeling of spring while still focusing on the target audience. The email was then translated into a banner ad that ran along the top of the site during the month of May.
