Today marks the 520th birthday of Henry the VIII. Having grown up in the US I know very little about the English Monarchy. I’d like to say this is because we, as a nation, rebelled against an oppressive government tossing tea into harbors and crossing the Delaware river, but I’m betting it has more to do with the US educational system.
One thing I do know about him is he had a slew of wives, six to be exact. Two of those wives lost their heads. And if you’ve ever seen this scene, which is NSFW by the way, from Se7en you just got the tasteless joke I made.
